Toulon is located in the south of France. The city is not regarded as a tourist's favourite destination in France, however, we think it is worth a visit if you are on vacation in the area. The city is famous for being home to the country's main naval base, but it is much more than that! The old town has a unique atmosphere and is very colorful. Getting lost in the many alleys is one of the best ways to get to know the city. Don't forget to walk to the harbor to see the Marine Museum. But if there's one thing you must visit before leaving the city, it is Mont Faron, which offers a breathtaking view of Toulon and its harbor. You can access Mont Faron by funicular, so hang on!
